Mercedes are re-branding their entire range around the world with a new generation of fuel efficient engines. The new engines have been integrated into the current classes of passenger cars already sold in India.

They have been a persistent part of the C, M and S-Classes and have proved successful. However, this year they will be installed into their commercial vehicle range as well. They are also offering PVC licence training to the drivers of these vehicles to ensure engines perform as efficiently as they can.

Tourism and fuel consumption

The increase in tourism to India in recent years has necessitated there being more heavy goods vehicles, buses and coaches on the roads; each of them consuming fuel fast. The new range of city and intercity buses are set to improve fuel efficiency for India’s bus companies. This means that the companies will be able to afford more buses on the same budget and will be looking for more drivers.

Job opportunities

If you enjoy driving; are considering a career change and are interested in becoming a goods or long vehicle driver, why not take Mercedes PVC driver training and get paid for driving? The courses that Mercedes put on themselves can be expensive for a first-time trainee driver; however they will benefit you as most of the bus and coach companies use Mercedes models as the bulk of their fleets. Prior experience with driving them will certainly look good to these employers.

The same is true if you are considering a career in heavy goods driving. Mercedes is offering full HGV training as well as optional additional training for driving their trucks as economically as possible. The new fuel efficient engines are only as fuel saving as the drivers that wield them after all.

Employers that see that you can drive economically and can work in harmony with the new engine technology are again most likely to get a job in the commercial sector.

There is nothing like driving a Mercedes-Benz, whether it is a car or commercial vehicle. The quality of the precise German engineering has been popular in India as they are rugged and built to last for many years, even with the heat, terrain and conditions that lesser cars are stumped by when here. They understand that we want the most out of their vehicles and they deliver the quality we expect from them making them the perfect option.
